ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. LUNCHEON SEATING WILL BE AVAILABLE ONSITE. Doing business internationally in today's dynamic global environment is an ever-evolving challenge, requiring up-to-date information to make smart business decisions.

To ensure you and your organization are prepared, join the Greater Houston Partnership on May 22 to get the latest global economic outlook from one of the foremost experts in the field, Dr. Stuart P.M. Mackintosh, Executive Director of the international think tank, Group of Thirty.

As part of his discussion about global economic trends, Dr. Mackintosh will cover topics including the rise of the dollar and negative spillovers, the ramifications of Brexit and Europe's recent push back against nationalism, risks in China and the ramifications of Japan's aging population.

In addition to the luncheon keynote, the event will feature a morning panel discussion among three executives who lead global institutions in Houston. The panel will be moderated by Bob Harvey, President and CEO of the Greater Houston Partnership, and includes:
  • Renu Khator, Chancellor and President, University of Houston
  • Jean-Francois Poupeau, Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, Schlumberger
  • Manolo Sanchez, Chairman, BBVA Compass

Also at the event, the Partnership's SVP of Research, Patrick Jankowski, will share his findings on Houston's global trade and investment ecosystem. Event attendees will receive a copy of the research report following the luncheon.
