From Arabica to Zinfandel: Houston's Global Coffee and Wine Trade
As a major global city, Houston is deeply engaged in the trade of wine and coffee. Since the ports of Galveston and Houston were opened, the region has been a gateway for potent potables -from Arabica coffee beans to Zinfandel grape wines. Native Houstonian, retail icon and business consultant, Robert T. Sakowitz, will take Partnership members on an educational journey through the nuances of these surprisingly complementary goods and their business impacts. Trade data and information will be explored along with Mr. Sakowitz's perspectives on Houston's past, present, and future in these interesting and related industries.
Due to limited capacity, registration for Council luncheons is required. Partnership Councils are complimentary and open to all member company employees.
